I began my career 25 years ago working with adults presenting with acute mental health distress. It was an experience that confronted me with the many shapes and faces of trauma. We often think of trauma as something that happened to us; as an incident or an event. The key however is not in the what but in the how it affected us. Any overwhelming experience - no matter how big or small - results in a total reconfiguration of our private world and our ways of relating to ourselves, others and life as a whole.

During and after the pandemic I shifted to a hybrid working model that includes online and face to face consultations depending on availability and the needs of every individual. My practice is based in Central London, where I offer face-to-face appointments on Fridays. For the rest of the week, I practice online via Zoom.
